Job Summary:

  • Assists beverage team members with daily operational duties.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain bar supplies throughout the shift, including water, fruit, beer, wine, liquor, half-and-half, straws, cups and matches.
  • Continually restock beer, refill Cambros with ice, and keep the liquor manifold stocked.
  • Retrieve beer and liquor orders and distribute them to the designated areas.
  • Check supplies needed for the next shift and place orders on the requisition sheet.
  • Ensure effective communication between shifts for a seamless handoff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, storage areas, and workspaces by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash and debris.
  • Break down and dispose of boxes; take dirty towels and mop heads to designated areas.
  • Wash bar mats and clean garbage areas thoroughly, including garbage cans.
  • Sanitize bar equipment and areas, including ceilings, walls, floors, mats, coolers and service wells.
  • Monitor and replace chemicals in dish machines as needed

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Self-starter with an open mind, positive nature, and enthusiasm.
  • Must attend and pass Care (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:

  • Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform all task with a focus on safety and accident prevention.
  • Ability to stay up to date on departmental policies, procedures and work assignments.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance, in proper uniform, including nametags, ID badges, and slip-resistant shoes.
  • Ability to reports to work on time, signs, and swipes in properly.
  • Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
  • Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
  • Adheres to the Cut Off Procedures
  • Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets as required for the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing on feet and walking
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Requires ability to constantly lift/pull up to 50lbs. and occasionally lift/pull 50+lbs.
