Job Description
Job Summary:
- Assists beverage team members with daily operational duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain bar supplies throughout the shift, including water, fruit, beer, wine, liquor, half-and-half, straws, cups and matches.
- Continually restock beer, refill Cambros with ice, and keep the liquor manifold stocked.
- Retrieve beer and liquor orders and distribute them to the designated areas.
- Check supplies needed for the next shift and place orders on the requisition sheet.
- Ensure effective communication between shifts for a seamless handoff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, storage areas, and workspaces by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash and debris.
- Break down and dispose of boxes; take dirty towels and mop heads to designated areas.
- Wash bar mats and clean garbage areas thoroughly, including garbage cans.
- Sanitize bar equipment and areas, including ceilings, walls, floors, mats, coolers and service wells.
- Monitor and replace chemicals in dish machines as needed
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Self-starter with an open mind, positive nature, and enthusiasm.
- Must attend and pass Care (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to perform all task with a focus on safety and accident prevention.
- Ability to stay up to date on departmental policies, procedures and work assignments.
- Ability to maintain a clean and neat appearance, in proper uniform, including nametags, ID badges, and slip-resistant shoes.
- Ability to reports to work on time, signs, and swipes in properly.
- Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
- Adheres to the Cut Off Procedures
- Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets as required for the position.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing on feet and walking
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Requires ability to constantly lift/pull up to 50lbs. and occasionally lift/pull 50+lbs.
