Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive team member to patrol an assigned area, equipped with a cart, tools, and vehicle, to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming public environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols within assigned areas to remove litter, cigarette butts, and other debris from sidewalks, street gutters, and alleys.
Remove graffiti and unauthorized signage from public infrastructure, including light poles, trash receptacles, and newsstands.
Remain vigilant for suspicious or unlawful activity during patrols and promptly report incidents to law enforcement, providing clear and accurate descriptions of individuals, vehicles, and events.
Interact with pedestrians and visitors in a courteous and approachable manner, offering assistance with directions, city information, or general inquiries.
Identify and report instances of damaged infrastructure, graffiti on private property, and other public maintenance issues.
Complete a basic daily report summarizing activities, tasks performed, and any notable observations.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times, adhering to company policies, procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations.
Perform the majority of an eight-hour shift on foot, with scheduled breaks.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (appropriate protective gear will be provided).
Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively complete reports and communicate as required.
