Maintenance Mechanic/Technician (Direct Hire)

Maintenance Technician Location: Wheeling, IL
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr
Job Type: Direct Hire (Permanent) Hours: 1st Shift (8am-5pm M-F) We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a newer but rapidly growing location here in Wheeling, IL. What's a Typical Day Like?

• Performing maintenance on blown film extrusion machines to produce plastic bags, focusing on 50% mechanical and 50% electrical repairs.
• Working with automated systems/PLC's and performing facilities maintenance as needed.
• Assisting with machine start-ups/set-ups and potentially installing new machinery.
• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This Job Might Be an Outstanding Fit If You:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience REQUIRED
• Are bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Have experience with plastics or extrusion (preferred).
• Own a set of tools (preferred).
• Are open to learning new things/equipment and taking the initiative.
