Our client, a dedicated provider in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary team supporting the nutritional needs of residents. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a passion for cooking, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Cook
**Location:** Rice Lake, WI
**Pay Range:** $20-$23 based on experience
**Shift:** 10:30 am to 7 pm (with possible adjustments)
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with dietary guidelines.
+ Collaborate with another cook to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
+ Assist with dishwashing and support dietary aides as needed.
+ Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.
**What's Needed?**
+ Prior cooking experience, preferably in an institutional setting.
+ Food certification is a plus and may be required.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
+ Must be available to work every other weekend.
