Description

As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in supporting overnight front office operations and financial reconciliation to ensure a smooth transition into each new day. You will be the overnight ambassador of our resort's standards, assisting guests, maintaining accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting overall operational integrity. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service-even during the quietest hours of the night. You will collaborate closely with our Front Office team, and key departments to uphold the resort's commitment to five-star service and operational excellence
Requirements
- Communicate with PM Guest Services Agents and the Manager on Duty regarding hotel status, late check-ins, and any issues affecting guest satisfaction or system performance.
- Review the "Communication Log" and Night Audit mailbox for updates from previous shifts to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Retrieve and organize the Night Audit packet, labeling and dating documentation to support daily financial processing.
- Accurately generate, analyze, and distribute audit and contingency reports for key stakeholders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
- Follow the Versa Instructional Manual to conduct nightly audit functions, ensuring all financial data is reconciled and reported.
- Separate, verify, and balance all outlet settlements (cash, credit card, master accounts, and room charges). Resolve discrepancies with efficiency and professionalism.
- Print and review revenue reports from Micros; prepare and process Micros credit card batches in coordination with Versa systems.
- Reconcile financial data across systems, ensuring alignment between Micros and Versa credit card transactions.
- Perform daily and weekly data backup processes according to policy and compliance standards.
- Accurately enter and maintain financial figures in the Food & Beverage Excel spreadsheet shared across departments.
- Finalize and submit all required end-of-day paperwork and reports, ensuring thorough documentation and readiness for the incoming team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Front Desk or Night Audit experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain high energy and focus throughout the shift.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism and discretion.
- Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Versa, Opera, or similar platforms) is highly preferred.
