Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets guests in lobby and maintains a professional appearance and environment in lobby at all times.
Answers and directs calls to proper departments.
Ensures switchboard is staffed at all times. Schedules switchboard relief operators as necessary.
Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Outstanding communication and multi-tasking skills required to deal with fast paced office environment.
Must be able to quickly and calmly answer and route calls while dealing with guests.
Ability to remain composed in emergency situations and follow established protocols (fire, bomb threats, irate guests, etc).
Ability to use a PC based computer running Windows, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word on a daily basis.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
One to six months of prior office services experience as receptionist.
High school diploma or equivalent.
