Menu Dining Server - Supportive Living

Overview

Willow Valley Communities is hiring Part Time Menu Dining Servers to serve our Residents and guests in a menu service dining room. The Servers will assist with preparation and portioning of menu items as well as set-up and clean-up duties in dining rooms, pantries and kitchen.

This is a permanent position, not seasonal.

Wage:

• $15.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provides prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards and observing correct portion sizes, diet restrictions, food allergies and safe food handling techniques.
• Works in conjunction with other Team Members to ensure efficient and timely meal service.
• May assist with preparation and portioning of food items for meals, snacks, and nourishments.
• Completes set- up/clean-up side work as assigned.
• Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, gives specials, and pours ice water.
• Takes Resident food and beverage orders at tableside and enters into computer software system.
• Assembles food and beverage orders and serves meals in courses, utilizing a large serving tray and carrying at shoulder height.
• Observes diners to respond to requests and clears used dishes between courses.
• Carries trays and bus tubs of dirty dishes to dish room.
• Clears and resets tables throughout the meal for the next groups of diners and at the conclusion of the meal for the next meal period.
• May assemble and deliver wellness meals or room trays to Residents.
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly cleaning jobs, according to lists and calendars.
• Restocks pantries and kitchen areas with condiments and supplies according to stock lists. Maintains clean and organized pantries and storage areas.
• Assists with motorized vehicle parking and personal walker parking and retrieval.

Qualifications:

• 16+ years old
• No experience required. Will train the right candidate!

Schedule:

• Available schedules:
• 4:15pm-7:45pm 2 days/week + every other weekend and every other holiday
• 4:00pm-8:00pm every Thursday + every other weekend and every other holiday 6:30am-3:00pm
