What this job involves: This position requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), established cleaning protocols, and compliance with quality standards and regulations. You'll need to follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout your work.

This is a part-time, non-exempt, union position requiring 30 hours per week on 2nd shift (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM). Weekend, holidays, and occasional overtime work may be required.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Perform cleaning services per scope and follow governing SOPs in non-classified spaces where applicable.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks such as, but not limited to, mopping and vacuuming floors, high and low dusting, deep cleaning and disinfecting of multiple surfaces and restrooms, and appropriate disposal of waste receptacles daily- including recyclables.
  • Responsible for completing deep cleans, office restoration, and special projects requested by Janitorial Supervisor and JLL/Client managerial teams.
  • Responsible for verifying that the proper chemicals are used for each designated area assigned.
  • Responsible for organization and upkeep of janitor closets, supply storage, and cleaning equipment.
  • Notifying Janitorial Supervisor of occurring deficiencies, safety concerns, and need for repairs, sitewide.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Participate in required training on the use of chemicals and equipment.
  • Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures, as well as all health and safety regulations.
  • Understands and follows proper EHS procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time (30 hours), 2nd shift (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
  • Weekend, holidays, and occasional overtime work may be required.

Skills In:

  • Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand documentation in English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service with both internal and external customers.

Knowledge of:

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is a plus but not required
  • Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is a plus but not required
  • Company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Prior experience of cleaning a biopharmaceutical GMP controlled environment is a plus but not required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Business computer hardware and software applications.
  • Attention to detail is an absolute must.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Must follow work instructions.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

27,371.00 27,371.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
