SERVER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Server Responsibilities:

The Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dinking experience for all guests. The Server establishes a relationship with the guest ensuring a pleasurable dining experience. The Server reports directly to the General Manager.

Server duties will include, but are not limited to:

Promptly greet guests as they are seated and take drink orders

Thoroughly understand and be able to speak to all items on the menu

Make menu recommendations to the customer

Accurately account for all guest orders and special requests

Ensure cleanliness of server stations

Deliver food to guests promptly ensuring food is cooked to order and hot

Thank guests for coming upon departure

Experience/Qualifications:

Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment

Solid Communication and interpersonal skills

A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus

Ability to work flexible shifts

Ability to life up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop

Ability to cross-train and work in different departments

Preferred skills:

Server experience

Indiana food handling certification

Indiana license to sell/serve alcohol

Hours:

The Server is either a full time or part time position and hours will vary

Salary/Income:

The Server is a non-exempt, hourly position
