Sanitation Worker**
**Job Description**
As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for effectively cleaning all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds. You will adhere to food safety standards while proficiently using plant touch screens and following CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures. Additionally, you will adhere to HAACP principles, demonstrating the safe and proper use of cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, paint brushes, and understanding labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant.
+ Adhere to food safety standards and HAACP principles.
+ Use plant touch screens and follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures.
+ Demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, paint brushes.
+ Understand labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with sanitation in a manufacturing setting.
+ Knowledge of GMP and HAACP principles.
+ Proficiency in using cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, brooms, and scrapers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
+ Open to candidates with sanitation or janitorial experience from other industries.

**Work Environment**
This role is located at the Belcamp location of a medium-sized manufacturing company producing flavors for oils and other substances. The environment is fast-paced and production-based, requiring effective communication. You will work in the shipping/receiving department, wearing steel-toe footwear. The company produces edible and non-edible products such as seasoning and essential oils. The shift is 1st shift from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility for 7 am or 8 am start times.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
