RME - Maintenance Technician II**
**Job Description**
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our advanced material handling equipment. This position involves installing, inspecting, repairing, and sustaining various equipment like conveyors, while ensuring adherence to preventative maintenance routines and documentation procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily logs and complete preventive maintenance sheets.
+ Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Apply electrical knowledge to understand basic components and troubleshoot equipment issues.
+ Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2+ years of experience in conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ Experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
+ Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
+ Experience in following and demonstrating safety standards.
+ Skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries.
+ Experience in performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment.
+ Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
+ Familiarity with CMMS.
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
+ Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
+ Knowledge of MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety regulations.
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college focused on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
+ Experience with PLC-based control systems.
+ Knowledge of robotic operation and maintenance.
