The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel with a focus on Remington Hall & Lounge. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

  • Communication Skills \: Clearly convey information and ideas, listen to and resolver concerns, and maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen \: Manage financial aspects of the department, including payroll and meeting or exceeding financial targets.
  • Technical Proficiency \: Micros, Windows operating systems and spreadsheets for effective management and reporting, and pay roll.
  • Supervisory Skills \: Motivate, coach, and performance manage F&B personnel, ensuring compliance with the company standards and procedures.

  • Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
