Position Summary:
The Bellperson is an integral part of the guest experience at La Playa Hotel, providing exceptional service by assisting with luggage, offering local recommendations, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
• Assist with luggage handling, including transporting to and from guest rooms, vehicles, and storage areas.
• Provide clear and accurate directions to hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Coordinate with the front desk and concierge to ensure guest requests are promptly addressed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell stand, lobby area, and storage facilities.
• Deliver packages, messages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly.
• Assist with valet services if required, including parking and retrieving vehicles.
• Uphold the hotels standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or customer service position preferred.
• Must have current & safe driving record
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Familiarity with the local area and attractions is a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to navigate stairs and assist guests with luggage in multi-story settings.
