Housekeeper

The primary purpose of this position is to perform housekeeping duties in designated area. Ability to follow work schedules, covering all phases of housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly, environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The work schedule for this position is 6:00 am 2:30 pm Monday Friday (40 hrs per week).

This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

Salary Grade NC01; Recruitment Range $31,200.00 - $46,991.00

• Documented housekeeping experience in a commercial / institutional setting.

Management Preferences:

• 3 years of commercial/institutional cleaning experience.
• Knowledge with various types of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of floor polishing machinery.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work around residents with mental and physical handicaps.
  

Physical Requirements :

Standing, stooping, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, and moving side to side is required for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 75lbs and slide or push 100 lbs.

Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.

Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities.
