Our client, a dynamic catering service, is seeking a Banquet Server to join their team. As a Banquet Server, you will be part of the hospitality team supporting various events. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Banquet Server

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Pay Range: $15.50 per hour

Shift: Starting at 5 AM

What's the Job?

• Set up banquet halls and tables with linens, silverware, glassware, and decorations according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, taking orders and ensuring special requests are met.
• Clear tables and remove dishes after each course, ensuring a tidy and efficient flow.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies, including food, beverages, and linens.

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills to effectively relay information and handle inquiries.
• Good physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Attention to detail for proper table settings and guest needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
