Houseperson

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor & the Floor Supervisor, the incumbent provides support to the guest room attendants and maintains par quantities of textiles, amenities and cleaning supplies in designated areas the incumbent receives, stores and issues equipment, materials and supplies and compiles stock records in the Supply Room. Maintains cleanliness in common/public areas of the hotel and assists with heavy cleaning in guest rooms as needed and maintains par quantities of textiles, amenities and cleaning supplies in designated areas. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous stock room and/or commercial cleaning experience or related experience preferred. Must possess basic math and writing skills necessary for conducting inventories. Position requires standing and walking 100% of the time. Bending, lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 lbs. required. Requires pushing a cleaning cart weighing over 200 pounds. Must be able to drive a fork-lift as trained and operate a pallet-jack.
