Job Details Nura is a restaurant in Greenpoint who believes that indiviuals thrive best when in a space they are supported, respected and treated fairly. As a tight knit group we're looking for someone who loves what they do and being apart of a team. We're looking for a talented line cook whose responsibilities include prep, setting up, and working in a high energy kitchen. All line cooks support and report to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.Preference for those who have prior experience working with a tandoor.

- Sense of professionalism everyday for entire team and venue.
- Maintain cleanliness of all back of house.
- Having the proper tools to produce at a high level.
- Maintain knowledge of proper use of equipment and tools.
- Preparing all menu items in a timely manner and by following recipes.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to recieve and apply feedback.
- Knowledge of food, service, and working in a professional kitchen.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
