Job Summary

As a Host, you are the face and energy of Zuzu. Youll be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. This role combines hospitality, and social savvy youll greet guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and most importantly, curate vibes. Youll work closely with our VIP team to host special events, promote Zuzu on and off-site, and ensure every guest feels welcomed, connected, and part of the scene.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Respond to phone calls and inquiries made from guests interested in making dining reservations at Zuzu.

  • Manage reservation book system to accurately record and organize guest bookings.

  • Collaborate with the Events Team to provide them with timely updates on event inquiries and reservations.

  • Ensure that all guest interactions are handled with the utmost care and attention to detail.

  • Organize training materials.

  • Assist the Management team in day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing and record keeping.

  • Assist in maintaining and updating menus, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Monitor inventory levels for food and beverage items and communicate restocking needs to relevant team members.

  • Utilize Restaurants 365, inputting invoices, understanding COGs, and assisting with counts monthly.

  • Assist in conducting regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness and safety of food and beverage areas.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Your success with us requires these qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certifications in hospitality or administration is a plus.

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and office equipment.

  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, growing environment

Working Conditions : This is a part-time position. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays may be required.

  • Strength: Ability to carry menus, help rearrange seating or assist with light cleaning tasks if needed.

  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment, especially during peak hours.

  • Polished Appearance: While not purely physical, maintaining a professional and well-groomed appearance is often required for interacting with guests in a front-facing role.
