Laundry Assistant - Full Time

Eventide on 8th Care Center in south Moorhead, MN is seeking a full time Laundry Assistant to work 7a - 3:30p and 6:30a - 3p. The Laundry Assistant provides residents with an adequate supply of clean clothing and linen on a daily basis by following established policies and procedures, maintaining related laundry equipment, and sorting and folding clothing. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Wash, dry, and hang or fold all residents/tenants' clothing, bedding, tablecloths, etc. along with facility linens. Sort personal clothing and linen into appropriate bins for washing. Distribute clean linen to resident care areas in appropriate, covered carts. Stock linen carts and closets accurately. Must be able to count and record information. Clean and maintain all laundry containers and bins according to policy and procedure. Applies all infection control, departmental, and facility policies and procedures which directly affect laundry duties. Monitor and restock cleaning chemicals and detergents as necessary. Report any malfunctioning laundry equipment or unsafe work areas to supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Compensation At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16-17.44 for Laundry Assistants per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
