**Position Summary Details**
The Lead Janitor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of a facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role includes supervising janitorial staff, coordinating cleaning schedules, performing inspections, and handling supplies and equipment. The Lead Janitor also performs hands-on cleaning duties and serves as the primary point of contact for custodial concerns.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
+ Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
+ Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met and report any maintenance or safety issues.
+ Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
+ Assist in onboarding and training new janitorial staff.
+ Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies.
+ Communicate with facility management regarding cleaning needs and staff performance.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.

+ Customer Service Experience
+ One year of lead or supervisory experience
