Food Service Associate

Reports to: Cook on duty Status: Part-Time Evenings (4pm ? 7pm \| Mon ?

Friday) Location: Providence Ministries for the Needy, Holyoke, MA

Position Overview: The Food Service Associate supports the kitchen staff

in all aspects of meal delivery before, during, and after service hours

at Kate?s Kitchen?a program of Providence Ministries for the Needy

(PMN). PMN is a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing

life-sustaining and life-changing programs to individuals and families

in need through initiatives such as Kate?s Kitchen, Margaret?s Pantry,

St. Jude?s Thrift Store, and Sober Living. Key Responsibilities: The

Food Service Associate will perform a variety of tasks as directed by

the cook on duty. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

? Assisting with food preparation in accordance with safety and

sanitation guidelines ? Serving meals from the steamtable during service

hours ? Assembling and distributing meal trays to guests in a timely and

respectful manner ? Filling and refilling beverage dispensers to ensure

availability throughout service ? Cleaning and sanitizing tables,

counters, and kitchen equipment before, during, and after meal times ?

Removing trash from the kitchen and dining areas and ensuring proper

disposal ? Sweeping and mopping floors to maintain a clean and safe

environment ? Washing dishes, pots, and pans by hand and using the

dishwasher as needed ? Recording guest counts and maintaining accurate

documentation for meal service ? Completing HACCP logs and reporting any

food safety concerns to the supervisor ? Performing other duties as

assigned by the cook to support daily operations Qualifications: ? Prior

food service experience is preferred but not required?training will be

provided ? Must demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to

work as part of a team ? Ability to collaborate effectively with

individuals from diverse backgrounds ? Must be able to follow

instructions from kitchen staff and perform assigned tasks reliably and

efficiently ? High integrity, resilience, and adaptability in the face
