Press Club, the award winning new cocktail bar in Dupont Circle, is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our service team as a Captain. If you're excited to be part of a unique cocktail lounge that blends crafted drinks with a curated vinyl music experience, wed love to hear from you!

What Youll Do :
As a Captain at Press Club, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Guest Engagement : Connect with our guests in a meaningful way, making sure their experience is enjoyable and memorable.
• Section Management : Oversee your section with attention to detail, managing service flow and ensuring smooth operations.
• Menu Knowledge and Communication : Be well-versed in our cocktail and snack offerings, confidently guiding guests and providing recommendations.
• Cocktail Knowledge : Share your knowledge of our unique beverage program, helping guests find the perfect drink to suit their tastes.

What Were Looking For :

• Someone with Michelin level serving experience who wants to transition into a more laid back atmosphere but retaining high touch service.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• A team player who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
• Experience in a similar role is a plus, but a great attitude and enthusiasm for our concept are most important!

Compensation: Hourly ($17.50) plus tips
