The server is responsible for fulfilling guest service needs and completion of all tasks related to prep, set-up, service, bussing, table retrieval, breakdown, and side duties.

• Arrival for duty as per schedule time

• Check the assigned station chart

• Check all tables are set up as per standard

• Greet table within 1 minute of guests being seated

• Explain both food & beverage menus

• Take beverage orders

• Input orders in POS with correct seat number

• Take food orders

• Input orders in POS with correct seat number

• Repeat all orders for accuracy

• Prepare table, mis-en-place, condiments

• Communicate with Expo and Food Runner regarding any special instructions

• Children and ladies must be served first

• Detail table and ensure guests satisfaction within 2 bites or 2 minutes

• Check water, alcoholic beverages, wine service

• Sequence of service must be always maintained

• Monitor table, be visible but not hovering or obtrusive

• Clear and detail table

• Explain Desserts and make specific recommendations

• Review and place bill in a folder w/pen closest to the host/hostess

• Once signed with confirmed method of payment, pick up check and settle immediately in POS

• Provide a copy of the closed check to the host/hostess

• Assist when guests are leaving, pull chairs

• Bid fond farewell

• Closing duties, end of shift reports & resetting in POS must be done as per company standard

• Be a Team Player

• One year of restaurant server experience

• Ability to deliver excellent service

• Must enjoy working with all people

• Requires long periods of standing and carrying heavy trays

• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights and weekends
