Located in the heart of Winnetka, our barbershop is always buzzingand were looking for a personable and organized Salon Receptionist to be the warm, professional face that greets every guest.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Management
Welcome each client with a smile, check them in and out smoothly, and ensure they feel at home from the moment they walk in.
Appointment Scheduling
Use our digital booking system to manage appointments, cancellations, and walk-inskeeping our talented barbers schedules running like clockwork.
Client Support
Answer questions about services, help clients select the right barber, and ensure every visit feels personal and stress-free.
Phone & Email Communication
Respond to calls and messages quickly and courteously.
Shop Appearance
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting; assist with maintaining product displays and keeping shelves stocked.
Payment Handling
Process payments, tips, and gift card transactions accurately; reconcile the register at the close of day.
Who You Are
Prior experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or in customer service (experience in a salon or barbershop is a plus)
Friendly, polished, and professional with strong communication skills
Able to multitask under pressure while staying calm and collected
Tech-savvy and familiar with booking or POS systems (well train you if needed)
Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual
Available to work Tuesdays through Saturdays, with flexibility for extended hours if needed
