Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience and upholding our standards of quality and hospitality. As a Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system; communicate special requests or allergies to the kitchen staff.
- Deliver orders to the table in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation meet our establishment's standards.
- Check in with guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring all condiments are stocked and available.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety in accordance with local regulations.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu, including food ingredients, preparation methods, recommend items to enhance the guest's experience.
- Assist in training new servers and provide support to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience as a server or in hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to [specific weight, e.g., 25 pounds] when serving food and drinks.
