Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Cleaner to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Cleaner, you will be key member of the housekeeping team helping to create great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

What will you do?

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the interior and exterior surfaces of the building including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, and trash removal.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; vacuum floors.
• Clean and maintain public and team member restrooms including toilets, sinks and showers.
• Maintain work equipment and well-organized work areas.
• Respond to cleaning service requests timely.

More about you

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in custodial and related services preferred.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Physical requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have ability to reach above head level with constant standing, bending, twisting, grasping.
• May be required to work twelve to fifty feet (or more) above the ground on ladders or lift.
• Consistent exposure chemicals to clean and sanitize.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including, heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
