Pay Rate:

What you'll be doing as a Chef / Cook Assistant:

• Prepare food for service (e. g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Help oversee prep cook's duties and tasks

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Participate in the teardown and set up of the Kitchen
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Strong knife skills are essential
• Ability to handle and prepare a variety of raw and cooked foods
• Potential for heavy lifting, may work on one's feet for up to 10 hours, work in loud environment
• Background check required
• Must have valid Drivers License
