Maintenance Mechanic******UP TO 32/HR**** BASED ON EXPERIENCE**

**Job Description**

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for examining machine controls to facilitate plate changeovers and initiating machine operations to meet production requirements. You will perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, you will repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.

**Responsibilities**

+ Examine machine controls for plate changeovers and machine startups.

+ Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on production equipment and machinery.

+ Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting

+ Motor maintenance

+ Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, charts, diagrams, etc.

+ Ability to use precision measuring devices including amp meters, electric meters, and hydraulic gauges
