Environmental Services Aide II, Marshall Medical Centers South, Full time, First shift

Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

Environmental Services Aide ll practice proper cleaning procedures to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for the patients, staff and visitors.

Environmental Services Aide ll functions under the authority and direct supervision of the department manager, supervisor and/or department Director.

Environmental Services Aide ll fulfills all job duties outlined in the Environmental Services Aide Job Description in addition to the following:

Some of the many skills performed: Follows proper policies and procedures mandated by Marshall Health Systems and those of the department Demonstrates proper floor care techniques including, but not limited to: dust mopping, damp mopping, spray buffing, burnishing, scrub and top coat, vacuuming, carpet extracting, and spot removal. Demonstrates leadership skills. Assists in training and educating staff. Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning most/all assignment areas within the department. Performs other duties as assigned.
