THE JOB:

Join our incredible team at Mandalay Bay as a Meeting Concierge and play a vital role in creating extraordinary experiences for our guests! You will set the stage for exceptional guest service with your welcoming demeanor, understanding their unique stories and needs to deliver WOW moments that leave lasting memories.

THE STARTING RATE: $21.00 hourly + gratuity

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Schedule meetings with Convention Service Managers, Sales Managers and Catering Managers to ensure all details have been reviewed and implemented for upcoming groups

  • Physically inspect all meeting rooms and ensure they are set in accordance to the Meeting Event Order or Banquet Event Order

  • Assist in supervising the Banquet setup, A/V, IT and other operating departmental staff pertaining to the clients' meeting requirements

  • Walk Convention and Meeting rooms pre and post-show to ensure space has not been damaged

  • Monitor breaks and refresh schedules ensuring all services requested is in a timely manner according to the meeting planners' expectations

  • Attend all PreConvention meetings and go into detail as to the role they play to the success of the clients' event

  • Attend trade show PreOperational meetings with the General Service Contractor and confirm walk in/out inspections

  • Assist the Convention Services Manager for groups inhouse, while the CSM is working on future groups

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

  • 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in Hospitality, Convention Services, Event Planning, Front Desk/Reservations, etc required

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
