Sanitation Worker

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a Sanitation Worker for their client in Newark, NJ location .

Shift Hours - 8hrs shift between 6:00am - 8:00pm, every other weekend.

Pay -17.70/HR

**Position Summary:**

We are looking for a skilled Sanitation Worker role to join our clients Food Services team. This role is essential to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will support kitchen sanitation, uphold service excellence standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Provide patient-centered service, creating a friendly, respectful, and safe environment.

+ Respond promptly and professionally to complaints or concerns, resolving issues when possible.

+ Work collaboratively with coworkers and other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.

+ Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including walls, tables, floors, and pots.

+ Record and monitor dish machine temperatures and report discrepancies.

+ Dispose of trash safely and according to infection control protocols.

+ Use appropriate safety signage when cleaning spills and mopping floors.

+ Complete daily tasks in a timely and organized manner.

+ Attend required in-service meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently to perform job duties

+ Must be a team player with good communication skills

+ Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

+ Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment or materials as required

**Pay Details:** $17.70 per hour
