Kamonegi is Japanese Soba restaurant located in Fremont specializing in traditional, handmade soba noodles and tempura.
Hannyatou is a Japanese Sake bar two doors down from Kamonegi with a focus on sake, and Japanese small plates.
The person we re looking for has an interest in Japanese cuisine, culture, and beverages. Our staff is small, so strongmunication is key, the team will rely on you. A good attitude and cheerful demeanor is a must! Must be able to work quickly and efficiently; these restaurants are tourist destinations that stay busy.
We're looking for a server and busser positions for Kamonegi.
Hannyatou needs a bar/server with someone either capable of handling a small kitchen line, or isfortable learning.
Kamonegi is open Tuesday-Saturday, 4pm until 9:30 last seating.
Hannyatou is open Tuesday-Saturday, 4pm until ~11pm.
All the good stuff:
Minimum hourly with a tip pooled, service charge FOH with additional tips. Hourly averages to ~44/hr.
50% employer paid medical and dental for full time employees after 3 months.
401k contributions after 1 year for full time employees.
Opportunity to contribute to fundraisers and events that give back to the Seattlemunity, and Japanesemunities.
Speaking Japanese and previous experience working in Japanese restaurants is a plus.
Requirements:
3 years minimum serving in a full service restaurant.
Experience in a fast paced environment.
Interest in Japanese food and culture.
