Sweet Dream Donuts is a small family owned business in St. Joseph, Mo serving a wide selection of donuts, breakfast options, and drinks from smoothies, boba, and coffee.
We pride ourselves on providing exceptional quality and friendly service to ourmunity. We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team and help us deliver the perfect coffee experience toplement our sweet treats. We have availability for opening (4am-10) and closing (12-3) shifts.
Job Summary:
As a Barista at Sweet Dream Donuts, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, taking orders, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. We highly value a friendly approach, integrity, and flexibility while being able to handle a fast-paced environment.
Opening shift starts early with a focus preparing materials and early customer service. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Closing shift will focus on cleaning and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Opening: Bake
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty drinks.
Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, grinders, and other related tools.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
Maintain a clean andanized work area, including the coffee bar, equipment, and customer seating areas.
Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Assist with other store duties as needed, such as packaging donuts, taking donut orders, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
Handle cash and process payments accurately.
Qualifications:
Must be available to work weekends.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Excellent customer service andmunication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and amitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to lift merchandise.
Previous barista experience is preferred but not always required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
