Job Description

At The Cottage Grocery, our Dishwashers are critical members of our Back of House (BOH) team and help ensure smooth Kitchen operations. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and tending to kitchen and restrooms. This position reports to our Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities

Washing all dishes, washing and sweeping floors, emptying trash receptacles.

Maintaining pristine Kitchen, including detailing cooking appliances, stations as needed, floors, coolers and freezers.

Maintaining outdoor areas, including dumpsters, parking lots, and surrounding areas.

Store andanize cleaning supplies and coordinate with Porter/KM when cleaning supplies need to be restocked.

Store andanize cooking utensils, pots, pans, containers, and tools in Kitchen.

Clean andanize the dishwashing station at the end of each shift.

Maintaining pristine customer and BOH restrooms, including cleaning fixtures, floors, and stocking paper, cleaning supplies, and bathroom goods.

Qualifications

Ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy objects, lift objects overhead, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
