We do not hire just Hosts, Bussers, Food Runners or Bartenders--must be qualified to be a Server as well.
All bartenders will start as servers until we are bothfortable moving on to bar training.
2 years fine dining and/or high volume locations (>$1500 individual sales per shift)
experience required.
Our service requires a fast pace, elevated service touches and table maintenance
Open availability is a must! Shifts start at 4:00 Wed-Sun; Shift meal at 3:30, if you desire.
What is the job?: As a Server and Bartender at Tatsu-Ya, you will be a key player in providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Utilizing your strongmunication skills and attention to detail, you will enhance guest satisfaction and ensure smooth service operations.
We tip pool and expect everyone to pull an equal . We hire employees who'll battle in the trenches with their cohorts no matter what's needed. None of the, 'that's a busser's job' kinda stuff works around --mainly because we don't have bussers. We are an All-Hands, All-Skills restaurant w all staff are fully trained on multiple jobs and can and do perform all duties required of any position at the moment that is needed, without hesitation.
You will be fully trained to host and run food before moving to server training. We do not hire directly into the bar until we get to know you as a server. After a working as a server for a period of time, you could be considered to train as a bartender.
