Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

Cleans, sanitizes and maintains buildings, facilities, and equipment which may include:

Clean and sanitize high traffic areas (restrooms, break rooms, common areas etc.)

Removes and disposes trash following appropriate ADC LTD NM policies

Cleaning and polishing fixtures

Remove recycling materials

Clean windows

Dust furniture

Uses cleaning tools and other products to create a healthy working environment

Clean, mop, shampoo, wash and vacuum floors

Track and order maintenance supplies

Basic maintenance skills to maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs may include:

Light bulb replacement

Window blind repair

Maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways.

Plaster, paint and stucco repair as needed

Performs other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to obtain/maintain a TS security clearance

Successfully be able to perform the physical demands pursuant to the Statement of Work

Ability to understand and follow standard operating safety procedures

Ability to utilize/practice confidentiality and discretion

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and drug screen. In addition to the completion of a federal background investigation and while in the process of obtaining a Top-Secret Clearance, must be able to obtain an interim clearance and/or appropriate agency approvals. Upon receipt of Top-Secret clearance, must be able to maintain active Top-Secret clearance and all agency approvals required of their position.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to bend, sit, balance, move, carry and pull up to 20 lbs., talk, see and hear. Noise level may be high when operating power equipment. Employee may be required to work in restricted spaces to include crawling and/or climbing, working at heights and ladders. Required to stand, be on feet, and move around for a full work shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to use properly use such safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others. Ability to communicate in person, by radio, electronically and over the phone. Ability to use computer equipment to complete reports, generate service orders, maintain inventories, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a regular full-time position. Days and hours of work are determined by business need and necessity. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Some local travel may be required of this position.
