Full Time - Food Service Worker

A vacancy exists for a Full Time Food Service worker within the Norristown Area School District. This position will be located at Norristown Area High School.

* A major part of this role is delivering and Serving breakfast to students at the Central Montco Technical School.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food service experience preferred
• Valid clearances - FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse & PA Criminal Background Clearances
• Valid driver's license
• Clean Driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures
• Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program
• Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed
• Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures
• Prepare and load breakfast for transportation

Schedule and Rate:

Monday- Friday

6:00 am- 1:30 pm

$17.85/ hour
