Food Service Assistant

Graettinger-Terril Elementary is seeking a dedicated and reliable Elementary School Cook to join our food service team. This position plays a vital role in provding nutritious, well-prepared meals to our students in a clean, safe, and welcoming enviroment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch in accordance with USDA and district nutrition guidelines

• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment

• Maintaining accurate food and temperature records

• Assisting with menu planning, portion control, and inventory management

• Ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards

• Providing friendly service and promoting a positive mealtime experience for students
