the girl & the fig in Sonoma is currently seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team.

We are a restaurant group with multiple locations in the Sonoma Valley, which includes the girl & the fig in Sonoma, Poppy in Glen Ellen, the girl & the fig CATERS!, Suite D , and our FIGfood product line. *Professional
*Knowledgeable about food and wine
*Able to provide friendly and responsible service to our guests
*Able to guide guests through our menu to create an exceptional dining experience
*Able to promote a bar experience that is welcoming and engaging
*Detail-oriented, friendly, and possess a true passion for hospitality, great food, wine and spirits
*A positive individual and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

A Typical Day Includes
*Sharing our passion for food, wine and hospitality with each individual who walks through our doors
*Create a welcoming and positive guest experience
*Prepare the bar for service and maintain a bar layout that is esthetically pleasing and efficient
*Ensure consistency in our beverage program and uphold proper pours of wine and liquor
*Uphold all ABC laws
*Communicate menu details to guests
*Access all functions in the POS system

This Job Requires...
*Ability to provide or complete CA Food Handler Certification and renew as necessary
*Ability to provide or completed RBS Certification and renew as necessary
*General restaurant knowledge and applicable experience as a Bartender in a fine dining environment

Physical Demands...
*Must be able to lift 50lbs and regularly move items between 10-20lbs
*Ability to stand for long periods of time

*Part-time
*Hourly wage is $20.00 + gratuities
