Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to be responsible for the daily cleaning of all dirty linen. Essential duties and responsibilities include: other duties may be assigned.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store all linens, towels, and other washable items.
• Properly and safely uses all soaps, chemicals, and equipment for cleaning linens, towels, and other items.
• Keeps all areas of the laundry room and its equipment clean and organized.
• Assists Hotel Housekeepers as needed.
• Ensures proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed.
• Keep an inventory of all items.
• Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines.
• Meets company attendance requirements.
• May be required to work days, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers, and other department staff.

• Ability to lift and move 35 pounds.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong attendance record and reliability.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
