Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, cafeterias, gyms, and other school areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.

• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials.

• Ensure safe use and proper storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture for events and activities.

• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or necessary repairs to supervisors.

• Follow district and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.

• Ability to perform physical tasks.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Must pass background check and fingerprinting as required by state law.
