Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting daily production operations. This position involves troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance activities, repairing various types of equipment, and providing production support to ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.

**Responsibilities**

+ Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.

+ Support production operations by addressing machine downtime and improving machine efficiency.

+ Rebuild component parts and conduct all necessary production support activities.

+ Utilize blueprints, technical drawings, and ladder logic for effective maintenance and repairs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Mechanical aptitude with experience in ball screws, spindles, gearboxes, and engine rebuilds.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.

+ Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and schematics.

+ Ability to read and utilize technical drawings and ladder logic.

+ Familiarity with OHSA regulations and compliance.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with PLCs and Fanuc Robotics is a plus.

+ Ability to work effectively with changing priorities and situations.

+ Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

+ Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericktown, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.50/hr.
