Medical Cleaner

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our medical facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors. This position does not involve any direct interaction with patients.

Pay: $18.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Night Shift - 6pm-2:30am

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of non-clinical and clinical areas (e.g., hallways, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, staff lounges).
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or commercial setting is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Must be able to pass a background check and health screening.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed indoors in a medical facility environment.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional biohazard materials (with proper PPE).
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
