Maintenance Worker Coarc Mellenville, NY 12544 Maintenance Worker Bring your Heart to Coarc Location: Columbia County, NY Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | On-call rotation every 4 weeks' Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour Organization: Coarc Make a Difference Behind the Scenes Coarc is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to help keep our homes and facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we support-people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, your skills will directly contribute to maintaining a high quality of life for others. What You'll Do: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and upkeep of Coarc's buildings, homes, and grounds. Troubleshoot and repair systems including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. Complete routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs. Keep walkways, driveways, and entrances safe and clear year-round. Participate in groundskeeping tasks like mowing, trimming, and general landscaping. Assist with construction projects and home modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and inspections. Be part of an on-call rotation every 4 weeks for after-hours or emergency support. Support and mentor individuals with disabilities in work-based roles when needed. What You'll Bring: High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or associate's degree preferred. At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance or related trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical diagrams. Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required. Hear from Our Team "I'm very impressed with Coarc.
