A fast-casual Japanese sushi roll shop near the Brooklyn Museum/Prospect Park is seeking front-of-house staff. The primary responsibilities include packing, preparing condiments, and taking orders.

We are a Japanese-owned, counter-service sushi roll shop based in Brooklyn. Committed to authentic Japanese cuisine, Silver Rice adds a unique twist to traditional sushi rolls, chirashi bowls, and beverages. Our restaurant is a go-to spot for anyone seeking high-quality sushi in a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal Candidates Should Be:
Hardworking and detail-oriented
Team players with a positive attitude
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Punctual and reliable
Consistent in completing assigned daily tasks
Knowledgeable about sanitation and health code regulations in the food industry
Fluent in English
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:
Food Protection Certificate
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture
Weekend availability

Crown Heights store (638 Park Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238)

34 days per week, including weekends. Your shift schedule will consist of a combination of lunch and dinner shifts
Dinner shift (4:30 PM 10:30 PM)
Lunch shift (11:00 AM 4:30 PM)
*Availability for 1-2 weekend lunch & dinner shifts is required.
