Versatile Bartenders/Barbacks wanted for Lucky Charlie Bushwick

New restaurant and bar in Bushwick featuring the oldest working coal oven in the Western Hemisphere in need of versatile bar staff.

Open 5pm-4am Wed-Sunday (with Monday and Tuesday to come soon).

2 bartender shifts avail each day, opener (330-1130ish) and closer (7- close). Immediate need for Sunday close shift.

Ideal bar back candidate would be able to act in a support capacity for the bar and wait staff, run food, take the occasional order during dinner shifts, and have a desire to learn how to bartend. Immediate need/availability for a Saturday shift here.

Pooled house during dinner shifts. Late night bartender would fly solo and keep all tips after dinner for as long as support staff is not necessary. This means closing/cleaning the bar alone, restocking, hosing down mats, etc.

Big preference to local people that have lots of contacts in the neighborhood.

Required qualifications:
- 2 years bar/ food service experience in a customer facing role
- familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems
- Fluent English and proper documentation (you're on the books!)
- big heart, thick skin and strong work ethic

Nice to have:
- experience or desire to learn about batching cocktails (juices, fat washing, herbal infusions, etc)
- food handlers permit
