Part-Time Custodian

The City of La Vista is looking for a Part-Time Custodian to be an essential part of our Recreation department's team. In this role, you’ll be the key to ensuring our Community Center and City Hall building and the surrounding campus are clean, safe, and ready for everyone both indoors and outside. In this position, expect to:

• Perform essential cleaning duties like vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the buildings.

• Conduct regular facility checks and report any maintenance needs.

• Assist with with room set-up and tear-down for programs and events.

• Keep the fitness area and equipment clean and tidy for our patrons.

• Provide support with snow and ice removal to keep our walkways safe.

• Empty trash and recycling bins, both indoors and out.

Regular hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon). Some adjustments to hours (earlier start time and/or work on weekend morning) may occur due to snow removal operations.
