Sushi I is a fast-paced, locally owned Asian restaurant known for quality food and tight teamwork. We're looking for a sharp, energetic host or hostess who thrives on multitasking and can juggle responsibilities with accuracy and grace. This is not a passive front desk positionour hosts play an active role in both customer service and team support.
What You'll Do:
Greet guests promptly and warmly, manage the waitlist, and seat parties efficiently
Take and manage to-go orders over the phone and in person with attention to detail
Package and double-check orders before handing off to guests or delivery services
Assist servers by running food, refilling drinks, and bussing tables when needed
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
Handle payment transactions for takeout and dine-in customers
Communicate clearly with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth flow
What Were Looking For:
High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure
Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
Evening and weekend availability
