This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, knows their sauces from their stocks, and brings a touch of flair to every plate.

Culinary Duties

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes including meats, poultry, fish, pasta, vegetables, and sauces
• Master techniques like sauteing, broiling, frying, baking, and grilling
• Create and garnish soupsclear, thick, and regionalwith precision and creativity
• Portion and present dishes with consistency and attention to detail
• Follow recipes and cooking instructions in English with accuracy and urgency

Skills & Requirements

• Must have a valid Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) Health Card
• Knowledge of mother sauces (espagnole, veloute, bechamel, tomato) and butter sauces
• Able to work unsupervised and assist other cooks in a team environment
• Comfortable using knives, handheld tools, and kitchen equipment
• Understand different cooking oils and their temperatures

• Work with endurance and mobility
• Lift, push, and pull as needed in a busy kitchen
• Adapt to hot, cold, and noisy environments
• Maintain a sense of urgency while delivering Family Style Service with every dish
