We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter ensures the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in alignment with company standards, contractual specifications, and agreed-upon performance levels. This position supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Duties:
Report issues, concerns, or service updates to GSI Management.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of lavatories (minimum twice daily), restocking supplies and reporting deficiencies.
Ensure stairways, basements, corridors, building entrances. and rooftops are clean and debris-free.
Clean and polish interior and exterior metal surfaces, elevator doors, directory boards, and entrance doors as needed.
Sweep and maintain exterior areas, including sidewalks, patios, decks, smoking areas, and loading docks.
Empty trash containers in the building and garage as necessary.
Vacuum elevator lobbies and building corridors as necessary throughout the day.
Report plumbing or mechanical issues to the Property Manager immediately.
Maintain a clean and professional building exterior, including planters, windows, and entrance trim.
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks.
Perform other tasks as directed by the Building Manager or staff.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders.
Must be able to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Proficiency in basic English (reading, speaking, understanding).
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
